| Customer Reviews: Organic it might be, but milk it is not August 6, 2010 shayar (Boston, MA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
What sort of milk can sit on the shelf unrefrigerated for months? UHT or ultra-high temperature pasteurization, which enables this long shelf life, is an extremely harmful process to inflict on the fragile proteins of the milk. Broken down proteins are less useful for bodily growth and repair, and may even be regarded as hostile by the immune system. Do your research before buying any UHT milk. Great for traveling July 13, 2010 Chen I highly recommend this product. The only thing is that if your child does not finish, you would need to refrigerate and its a little pricey. Also hard to find whole milk version in cartons. Really convenient to carry it when travelling. and it does not need refrigeration. The packaging is more sturdy than some other brands so the milk does not squart out of the package easily.
Great for cows July 5, 2010 good things 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
We have a small farm and have 3 cows. We don't feed them organically. I mean, thats expensive. But we found that by feeding the cows organic milk, it makes them healthy and happy. The milk they give is much better. I just wish there was a market for possum milk. We have 98 of those little ones that we milk daily.
Great Product But Expiration Date at Amazon is Way Too Soon! June 21, 2010 Remway (NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was happy to see that Amazon offered Horizon products. However, the expiration date on my purchase was "right around the corner" and I had to throw out some of the drink boxes. I would appreciate if Amazon could list expiration date on the site. Then I would gladly purchase here again.
No Kindle Version April 20, 2010 Barry Ritholtz (NY) 4 out of 16 found this review helpful
This milk was delicious, but since I cannot get it on my kindle, I am only giving it one star!
