I've been using Shot Blocks for about 1.5 years. I'm a 45 y.o. cyclist, with 60-70 mile training rides and do about 8 century rides a years. The ease of handling and great taste encourage me to eat these as I ride. I know I need to eat more "out of my pockets" during rides, and these help achieve that goal (in addition to bananas and Cliff Bars). Although I haven't cramped while eating these, I feel there are too many variables to be able to attribute cramp-free riding to Shot Bloks alone. I do feel they help maintain my performance. I really like the convenience of eating these from the tube-like dispenser while riding. I've tried all flavors and have no objections to any particular flavor, but I do favor the ones with caffeine (black cherry and orange). Sometimes, it's difficult to open the package with full finger gloves while riding, but I assume I could just open a pack before the wheels start rolling.

These things are great. We use them for bike rides, hiking and camping. Keeps the energy up in a pinch and they taste good too.

We get so dehydrated & tired when playing golf in 100 degree temps. Shot Bloks really help to keep us going. I was getting severe leg cramps after walking 18 holes & this product really helps eliminate this problem.

I have been eating Shot Bloks for a few years now and I love them. I was first acquainted with them when I started mountain biking and I used them as a way to get something into my stomach quickly. They seem to be metabolized rapidly and fill the empty spot in one's stomach right away. Prior to trying these I used the Clif Bars--I prefer these because you can eat them in a few bites and see the benefit immediately. I travel frequently for work and I get very hungry when I fly, I arrive places after restaurants are closed, etc. These are easy to pack and keep me from getting grumpy (I get very uncomfortable when I haven't eaten).

This was a risky flavor for Clif -- but wow -- if you like the taste of margaritas (lime, salt and yes -- even a hint of tequila!) and you are willing to get used to it, they are amazing. I will be ordering another box.
